Cooling Pods, King’s Cross
Secret Fix Aluminium Panel System
On this highly specialised project, JWD Architectural Aluminium were asked to provide a decorative cladding solution for a number of circular attenuator tanks situated on a busy inner city commercial development in King’s Cross, London.
JWD designed and fitted a bespoke Secret Fix Aluminium Panel system to clad each of the large cooling pods. The aluminium cladding panels were fixed to a galvanised radius bracket, and the system was then complemented with a matching radius cill and capping detail, complete with a silver feature strip.
All panels were powder coated to match the exact colour required by the client and deliveries were carefully co-ordinated due to the busy nature of the surrounding built-up area.
