Tower Block Refurbishment, Salford
Aluminium Rainscreen Cladding & Window Pods
This is one of many similar projects up and down the UK, where an estate of 1960s high-rise blocks has been given a radical makeover and brought up to 21st century standards. As well as a thorough interior makeover, the buildings have been insulated and clad in aluminium on the outside, massively improving thermal efficiency and completely changing the appearance of the structures (which were originally clad in brick).
JWD’s skills as bespoke manufacturers were used to make the many window pods and other closing details to complete the cladding and make a smart, durable, modern finish.
